Please be advised that from 18:00 hrs. on 12 February 2026 until 00:00 hrs. on 18 February 2026, the VIS operating system will be affected by a temporary operational shutdown.
This is a planned and urgent technical intervention that will temporarily suspend the reception and processing of visa applications, as well as the issuance of entry visas. This suspension will affect both the Visa Office of the Consulate General of Italy in Lagos and the centers managed by the outsourcer TLScontact.
Please be advised that, in order to minimize inconvenience to users, appointments already scheduled will be rescheduled for the days immediately preceding or following the period affected by the suspension, taking into account priority needs and urgent cases.
